Joanna Kirkland
Joanna Kirkland is an English actress and a former child actress. Born in London, England, she is the daughter of the late director Dennis Kirkland, who directed the "The Benny Hill Show." As one of Hill's Little Angels, Joanna starred in several sketches directed by her father with Benny Hill. She was the only member of the troop to go on to have an adult career as an actress, starring in such dramas such as "Children of the New Forest" in 1998, "Witness of Truth: The Railway Murders" in 2001 and "St Milligan's Wharf" in 2013 as well as starring roles in the British TV shows, "Holby City" and "Doctors." She also works as a stage actress, starring in 2007 in the Laurence Olivier Award nominated musical, "Parade." She also appeared in the A&E episode of "Biography" about the life of Benny Hill who she fondly recalls as her "Uncle Benny."
