- Spoofs in this episode include "The New Avengers" based on the British action series, "The Avengers" and "Bionic Baby" based on the American action series "The Six Million Dollar Man" and "The Bionic Woman."
- This episode features a memorable music number with Diana Darvey singing an unidentified Spanish song accompanied by Benny Hill and Jackie Wright as her musicians jealously competeing for her attention. The number is most notable as the "Supercalifragilistic-expialidocious bit" among fans because Diana breaks from the song to deal with their rivalry, and Jackie interferes with Benny's attempt to spell the Mary Poppins word on Diana's chest. Even Diana Darvey cracks up laughing in the bit.
- For unknown resaons, three of the 1976-1977 episodes seem to be especially light on Quickies, which have usually been considered a staple of "The Benny Hill Show." Both this episode and the previous April 21, 1976 episode have one quickie accompanied by one large central sketch comprised of smaller sketches.
- Benny wraps the show with Henry McGee, Jenny Lee-Wright, Eddie Buchanan, Rita Webb, Jackie Wright and the members of Reflections, calling them "one big happy family," but when he turns around, there's a long dagger sticking out of his back.
