Dermot Kelly is an Irish actor best known for his roles in the movies "Staircase," "The Quare Fellow" and "Cup Fever."
Not much is known about his life and career. He was born on May 15, 1918 in Ireland and made his first screen appearance in the movie "Another Shore," later appearing in "Malta Story," "The Poacher's Daughter" and the TV-series "The Mad O'Haras." His later film roles included parts in "Breakout," "Home Is the Hero," "The Old Road," "The Wrong Arm of the Law," "The Yellow Rolls-Royce" and "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter," but most of his career was focused on television in TV shows such as "Nick of the River," "Armchair Theatre," "Mess Mates," "BBC Sunday-Night Play," "ITV Play of the Week," "The Skewbald," "Benny Hill," "Val Parnell's Sunday Night at the London Palladium," "The Arthur Haynes Show," "Till Death Us Do Part," "ITV Comedy Playhouse," "Sykes" and "Spooner's Patch."
He passed away in Dublin, Ireland in 1980 and laid to rest in St. Fintan's Cemetery.
