Deborah "Debbie" Linden was a Scottish-English actress and glamour model best known for her role in the sitcom, "Are You Being Served?" in 1981. Born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 22, 1961, she was a Page 3 Girl for "The Sun," later working as an actress in episodes of "Give Us a Clue," "3-2-1" and "The Benny Hill Show," appearing in the opening moments of the Grand Wheelchair Rally on December 26, 1978. She also appears with Sue Upton, Louise English and several other girls who appeared on this particular show in publicity photos for Benny Hill that appeared in the media. Her other TV appearances include "The Professionals," "Just Good Friends," "Bergerac," "The Bill" and "The Kenny Everett Video Show." She also appeared in several feature films, such as "Home Before Midnight" "Bloodbath at the House of Death," "Home Before Midnight," "The Ghost Sonata" and "The Wildcats of St Trinian's." Plagued with a drug problem for years, she died of a heroin overdose at home in Kingston-upon-Thames, England on the night of October 5, 1997 at the age of 36. Her boyfriend, Russell Ainsworth, was acquitted of manslaughter charges but sentenced to two-and-a-half years for supplying the drug.
